Dr. MacLaren was born in Vancouver, Canada and currently resides in Park City, Utah. Dr. MacLaren received her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Illinois and finalized her formal studies in an ophthalmology residency at Purdue University. Her areas of interest include cataract surgery, tear film disorders and corneal disease. Dr. MacLaren has been board certified in veterinary ophthalmology since 1995.
